Inner Wheel Club of Georgetown Central Refurbishment of Shelter TV-Sitting Room

The Inner Wheel Club of Georgetown Central completed the refurbishing of the TV/Sitting Room on January 16, 2010 at Help & Shelter’ shelter for abused women and children. Painting, tiling, upholstery, electrical work, curtains, bookcase and carpet (rug) were put in place to enhance and make the living accommodation more comfortable for the residents.
The Inner Wheel Club of Georgetown Central is the women’s arm of the Rotary Club of Georgetown Central. It is a non-profit organization that raises funds to carry out projects identified by its members and lays particular emphasis on improving the living conditions of less fortunate children and elderly people.
